Cadence Jackson has it all—her dream job, dream home, and the perfect guy... until he dumps her the night she expects a proposal. With her tenure-track role and the creative writing major on the line, Cadence sees Priya, her star student, as the creative writing program’s best shot at survival — if she can just finish her romance story. What begins as a plan to save the major and help Priya find love for the first time could end with Cadence rediscovering her own belief in happily-ever-after. Standing in Cadence's way is Priya’s other mentor, the devastatingly attractive Dr.Princeton Cole, who’s pushing Priya to pursue an economics major. Will Cadence be able to keep Priya focused on romance—on the page and in real life—long enough to restore the creative writing major (and her own belief in love), or will her matchmaking efforts cost her everything that she’s worked so hard to accomplish?
